Tea tree essential oil is a natural plant extract from the native Australian Melaleuca alternifolia plant. It can be extracted when the leaves from the plant are distilled with steam in order to obtain the oil. A highly versatile oil, tea tree essential oil or Melaleuca oil is known to treat a lot of different ailments.
