Signature Mushies
Cordyceps: used to improve energy, endurance, stamina, appetite and disrupted sleep patterns. Additionally, Cordyceps can help protect the kidneys, improve lung function, improve athletic performance and the immune system.
Lion's Mane: renowned for its antioxidant and neuroprotective properties. This mushroom also is known to improve anxiety, depression and cognitive function, and it has anti-fatigue and anti-aging properties.
Chaga: predominantly found growing on birch trees. Its medicinal actions are centred around its ability to protect against the negative effects of free radicals. It is an antioxidant, cancer suppressant, immuno-modulator and anti-inflammatory; it can increase physical endurance, improve diabetic health, promote cognitive function, and relieve pain.
Reishi: (Ganoderma lucidum) is a true “superfood.” Also known as Ling Zhi in Traditional Chinese Medicine, these mushrooms are strongly anti-inflammatory and tied to longevity, better immune function and mental clarity — perhaps that’s why they’ve adopted the nickname “king of mushrooms.”
Reishi is an "immuno-modulator," meaning it can help restore hormonal balance, bring the body back to homeostasis and regulate activity of the immune system, including fighting tumors and cancerous cells. Research shows that Reishi helps to regulate various cellular functions and systems, including the endocrine (hormonal), immune, cardiovascular, central nervous and digestive systems.
Turkey Tail: an ancient Chinese tonic and lung support, Turkey Tail has come to the fore in modern times as a powerful immune modulator, being able to both stimulate a depressed immune system and calm an overactive one, and has been applied most extensively to the field of oncology.
How to use
We recommend choosing 2 for the day, and doing a general dosage of 2 tsp per day, at different times. For increased protection, use 3-4 tsp throughout the day for a determined period of time (10-14 days when used in higher amounts).
